Sacred Breathwork

Breathwork is a powerful healing tool for processing what's been held in the body on a cellular level and in the subconscious.

Processing something means looking straight at it. Holding it lovingly and courageously in that uncomfortable, and perhaps even scary space. You might feel a strong impulse to move really quickly through, away from, or around the scary, uncomfortable, or painful experience. Whether they’re thoughts, memories, or emotional states. It’s ok. It’s not your fault. As a society, we’ve had little guidance or encouragement to stay with our vulnerable states, let alone invite them and see the rich value within them.

Be with them.
Sit with them.
Process them.

Sacred Breath Work allows you to transform this holding pattern by bathing it in love, bathing it in prana, bathing it in intention. And allow it to release.

When we resist facing feelings that make us uncomfortable - especially those you don’t understand or even fear - they become lodged in our subconscious and the cellular structure of our body.

Falling prey to fear and resistance can be strong tendencies in your human experience and psychology.

Unlock Your Subconscious Through Breathwork

The energy of beliefs, emotions or physical experience doesn't necessarily get to flow through your being and connect to your higher understanding and awareness when they are met with fear, or resistance. It gets lodged in your psyche and lodged in the cellular memory of your tissues and in your etheric body.

Breathwork Is Potent!

Through the breath, you can bridge the conscious mind and the subconscious state, where you hold information, beliefs, memories, energetic imprints and so many things that you are not even aware of related to your own conception, birth, early preverbal life, childhood and even past lives. You enter an altered state for the healing to occur.

Breathwork supports transition beautifully. Processing something simply means we are supporting its natural transition. We are in constant transition. That's what change is - one thing transitioning into something else with a new shape, form or energetic expression. In this case, Breath Work’s intention is for the transition to bring you into a greater state of understanding, ease, and acceptance.

Breathwork is also used to process everyday stressors and for ongoing emotional patterns, you are aware of and want to change.

For example:
I'm feeling tense and anxious, as I realize I am blocking my happiness with my self-doubt and fear. I can do a “breathe” on this, or perhaps several. So I can get clearer on my unhelpful beliefs and so my body can learn what it's like to move through this doubt and anxiety, and release it, and come back to a state of greater ease and help me connect to my true essence which is love.

Breathwork can facilitate the unveiling of our subconscious mind.

When you begin breathwork practice, you will typically want to continue in a series of breathwork sessions in a supportive, nurturing environment. You will want that support prior to practicing on your own because it will take you to the edge of what you've pushed away or what you've tended to avoid. This can often take you to a new level of vulnerability. Loving support and guidance is key during these experiences. I provide that for you.

How I hold space for you during transition

Breathwork helps one awaken to belief systems and mindsets - in some systems they call it your core personal lie(s) - that you're telling yourself unconsciously, or even perhaps consciously. I provide and hold a loving, nurturing, safe, sacred space for you to explore this incredibly unique and potent work.

During transitions, new information often comes up, along with unexpected feelings. Some of which may be repressed emotions and also beautiful new levels of peace, love and grace.

Here’s one example:

You’re moving houses. You didn't expect to feel emotional about it because you felt ready for a new space and you didn’t even like the old place much. But all of a sudden the feelings and emotions are coming up - sadness and apprehension.

Even though it's a positive transition, muddier feelings and emotions might come up. Most often, those feelings are connected to past and previous experiences in this lifetime, often in childhood. They could be related to other moves you made, or other times you were honouring what you wanted and then somehow felt you didn’t deserve it. A pattern of unworthiness that creeps up on you.

It might be important for you to make those connections. They may help you understand your feelings and behaviour now, and when they come up, be able to tell yourself “Okay, I am allowed and safe to feel this, and to make this choice.

Here’s another possibility:

In a past life, you were forced to move due to civil conflict. Your family was forced to move from their house and it was extremely traumatizing, and maybe there was a lot of poverty around that. Maybe there was violence as well? Maybe you saw your own home being burned down. Something like this. We never know what's happened in a past life.

If that past life experience is still resonant and there's an awareness of that trauma in the psyche and etheric body, when in this life, we move through something that has a similar structure (let's say, “I'm moving house but it's really positive”) we can react from a subconscious remembering of that past life, creating a flow of unexplainable negative emotion.

I invite you to step into compassion.

When these “unexplainable” reactions occur, we can get really upset and frustrated with ourselves, which is so self-harming - “why am I being like this? This is ridiculous!” - when in fact that is exactly when we need to step into compassion.

Sometimes we don't understand why certain emotions are coming up - that doesn't mean there's something wrong with you, doesn't mean you're losing your mind.

In fact, that is a big clue you have likely suppressed something, consciously or unconsciously. You could also be tapping into something on a deep cellular soul level that needs compassion, patience, and understanding that you need space to feel, express, and release whatever has been ignored, hidden or rejected.
All the work that I do creates space for this work and these experiences.

Once you're supported and guided into breathwork, your higher self is going to take you where you need to go and connect to what is most ready to shift and ready to surface for you.

In that space, you may experience new awareness and actually process what’s been held in the physical body, psyche and energy field, and ultimately has been contributing to your pain and interfering with your happiness.

I invite you to set an intention

Your breathwork session will begin with some coaching and exploration time. This is so we may begin your breath work with a clear intention.

When you set an intention for your breathwork session, it can be that much more powerful. I invite and encourage you to try it. The human mind often does better when it has a clear focus or direction. Some people absolutely need this more than others, and it's important to honour this need.

Setting a specific intention in breathwork is a personal choice. You can still have an incredibly rich and potent experience without a clear and specific intention. The breath, is Life Force itself. The overall intention is for healing. To breathe in LOVE and breathe out fear. Your body and soul wisdom already knows how to intuitively work with life force energy.

I invite you to surrender

Once you set the intention, you will need to surrender, or let go of expectations and attachments, and trust that whatever is going to come from this experience is what you most need.

The process will be directed by your higher self and by Spirit/Source. Trust in these guides!

My role as a Sacred Breathwork facilitator is to create an intentional loving and safe space for you to feel supported, curious, open and ready to invite more compassion, love, empowerment and healing into your life experiences.

Sacred Breathwork is one of the tools I offer to support a more loving, intuitively led and empowered life for the women I work with.
